There's no doubt that Bruce Banner and his aggressive alter ego are well loved Marvel characters. The issue with the comics, shows or movies is that it's deceptively difficult to write a good story for him. New writers look at the obvious attributes and actions and don't deal with the reason people love this character. In the comic book world when Hulk was done right two things happened. The first was that it stood out from all the other issues of Hulk, the second thing that happened was that Hulk's popularity grew like a gamma radiation induced scientist. When Hulk was done wrong, it was horrible.

As we wait for this new rendition of the Incredible Hulk, fans everywhere hope that this isn't the mindless, easy version of the Hulk. This is my personal note to the director, Mr Leterrier, the story is vital.
